Why A Pashmina Scarf Is So Special….

A Pashmina shawl is not your regular day kind of fashion accessory you wear in downtown Tameside

A pashmina (sometimes wrongly spelt pashmena) is a scarf that can compliment whichever look you have chosen to go out with. In addition to this, the Pashmina scarf is a fashion accessory that can be worn or used by men and women from all age groups. By stating this, it is imperative that one notes this shawl turn worn outlook into a lively and trendy look.

One of the significant uses and advantages of the Pashmina wrap is that it is used to keep one warm. The pashmina shawl has been made of a fabric that easily encompasses the heat of one’s body.

The name Pashmina is as of a result of warm, soft and fine cashmere that has been used to weave the fashion accessory.

Among its number of uses, the scarf can be tied to one’s handbag which will play a significant role in giving one a trend setting look they desire. Of course traditionally the scarf is tied around the neck as a scarf. All one needs to ensure they look great when doing so do is match it with a good pair of jeans or any dress.

For those that may not have any thoughts on what present to buy for their mothers, aunties, sisters or grandmothers for Christmas (or any other occasion), a pashmina shawl is an excellent present.

Those that are not familiar with their origin, the shawl from www.scarfandscarves.com are made in Thailand.

Caring for your pashmina shawls

Looking after one’s Pashmina scarf is important as it will play a huge role in ensuring that your scarf stays pristine for a long time.

Due to the materials that have been used to make it, you should ensure that it is:

  • washed separately from other colored clothes using hair shampoo in a lukewarm water;
  • avoid using harsh chemicals such as bleach;
  • allow the item to dry flat away from sunlight;
  • press the item with moist cloth or fabric; and
  • twisting the Pashmina shawl can ruin its shape, thus remove excess water after washing by gently squeezing it.

The Authenticity Of the Pashmina Shawl

Numerous people are buying fake Pashmina wraps of which they are duped that they are the quality merchandise they claim to be. Be very wary when ordering.

An original Pashmina scarf feels velvety to the touch, and the label on them should indicate that they have been made by 70% or more cashmere.

Pashmina wraps tend to be a bit more expensive than one otherwraps on the market.

The Metropolitan Borough of Tameside is a metropolitan borough of Greater Manchester in North West England. It is named after the River Tame, which flows through the borough and spans the towns of Ashton-under-Lyne, Audenshaw, Denton, Droylsden, Dukinfield, Hyde, Mossley and Stalybridge. Its western border is approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) east of Manchester city centre. It borders High Peak in Derbyshire to the east, the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham to the north, the Metropolitan Borough of Stockport to the south, and the City of Manchester to the west. As of 2011[update] the overall population was 219,324.[2]

The history of the area extends back to the Stone Age. There are over 300 listed buildings in Tameside and three Scheduled Ancient Monuments, which includes a castle of national importance. The settlements in Tameside were small townships centred on agriculture until the advent of the Industrial Revolution. The towns of the borough grew and became involved in the cotton industry, which dominated the local economy. The current borough was created in 1974 as part of the provisions of the Local Government Act 1972. Since then the area has been administered by Tameside Borough Council, which has been judged by the Audit Commission to be “performing strongly”.[citation needed]
